Dear friends and neighbors,
It is an honor to represent House District 50 in the Oregon Legislature. I have been a proud Gresham resident for nearly forty years—it’s where I’ve lived, worked, played, and raised my daughter. As Gresham’s first woman police chief, I’ve worked to keep our community safe; as a member of the Gresham-Barlow school board, I’ve worked to ensure all of our kids get a first-class education; and as State Representative, you can be certain I’ll continue to advocate for our diverse, prosperous, and growing community.
I just finished my second term in the House of Representatives, and I’m excited to report the progress my colleagues and I have made in the 2016/2017 session. In an economy where not every Oregonian can get ahead, we were able to make investments in working families: increasing funding for affordable housing, protecting workers, and working to reduce class sizes and increase school safety for our kids.
Of course, there’s still more to be done—and that’s where you come in. I want to you to send me back to Salem, where I can continue advocating for safe communities, good schools, and a strong, equitable economy. Please consider donating your time, your money, or your vote to my campaign.
Know that my door is always open: you can contact me at carlapilusofororegon@gmail.com, call at 503-489-7291, or visit me on Facebook or Twitter.
Warm regards,
Carla C. Piluso
